give up already i asked u to stop writing i get message every time someone wants to be funny. £500 mortgage on 4 bedroom house??? the mortgage is probably from the year and u last had sex with someone else than ur wife... and why take the piss out of people on benefits when sometimes they live better lives than people that pretend to run businesses...
tell u what if i can get my boss to give me a day free every week i will be glad to sign on and get housing benefit and live wherever i choose this way i will get both salary for 4 days and free house and £50 every week lol
haha no hate it is about been smart not workacholic
i just want to clarify some things because it is obvious that this forum is full of unsucessful business people that think that 70 quid a day is a big deal.
Look at my income and my expenses and tell me how am i supposed to buy a house with my girlfriend if i stay on this crap money without any overtime btw my boss laughed at me when i told him about double pay on sunday which just proves that he is a exploiter...
my income: around £1400 a month cos we get one day off or twice a month with NO PAY
my outgoings:
car insurance: £120 a month
mobile phone: £35 a month
going out: £100 a week or around £400-£450 a month lets say £425
petrol for the car: £80 a month
laptop on finance: £35 a month
eating out: £150 a month
food and other crap: £250 a month
going on weekend trips twice a month: £200 a month
this is £1295 and of course the rest always is spent on MOT, car parts or something else like birthday presents...
so basically i have no way of getting on the property ladder and have to continue living with my parents who get on my nerves every day
i have a plan that will make it possible for me to get another £800 a month but for this i have to stop working 1 day a week which is impossible
Your having a laugh pal, look at your finances, you wouldnt be able to hold down a house!
£425 a month for going out! That can go
£150 a month for going out! That can go
£250 a month for food and 'crap' cut the crap and spend £250 on your food bill, dont go out and save that money, then youll have £575 a month to RENT a house (with your financing and attitude a mortgage company wouldnt touch you)
You need to learn to budget and sort your finances out before anthing else, and stop pis*ing it up the wall a on weekend going out! And count yourself lucky you have a job, as many dont.
There's no point. You're just responding to a wind up.
Oh Scott, does it matter? I've had such fun reading this thread.
Good God Gary you stupid as well, it's "about been smart"!
I might side with DWP - sorry - Johnny eny minute now.
Kate ..... I do agree with you entirely and not criticising your comments ...... but this thread is starting to sound like the dialogue from the Derek & Clive (aka Peter Cook & Dudley Moore I think?!) sketch of the early 70's ......Yes actually - it is called the UK BUSINESS forums....
£70 a day for labouring is a good wage - go and get a degree to be a Java developer, thats what your friend must have done, however not ALL developers have a degree - I know one very highly paid developer who earns £300 - £500 a DAY who does not have a degree, but he has lots of learning behind him and lots of experience, AND worked as a labourer on £25 a day whilst he learned to be a developer.
And for the record - 20 is very young, and your moaning about having to walk to a pick up point, make your own sandwiches etc shows just how young you are - I used to drive 35 miles to work and 35 miles back each day, make my sandwiches, those of my two children, and run a house, I started at 8am and sometimes didn't get home until 10pm and was earning far less than £70 a day as PA (Personal assistant to a Managing Director) and this was only 6 years ago - if I had only had a 25 minute walk I would have been thrilled!
So... currently with disposable income of £800+ a month for going out yet benefits seen as a better option than being a workaholic
?? did I miss something??
working 5 days a week without benefits = £350
working 4 days a week with benefits = £280 from work + £50 jobseekers allowance + housing benefit worth around £60 a week + free hospitals and everything else = more than £400 worth a week and a signing is only once every two weeks so i get a free day every second week and half a free day every week so I be £100 better of a week

".... times were so hard when I was young I had to get up half an hour before I went to bed and lick t' road clean wit' tongue ......" glorious!!!
Yea, but Pete & Dudd were much funnier so let's credit them with it![]()

After a while you realise the pig likes it."
