My mortgage a 4 bed house at £475-00 per month.
Here's a solution - stop going out and driving which will save you around 850-1000 per month and buy a house closer to your work.
This will show commitment to your boss and give you a lay in every day of at least 25 mins.
Once you have brought the property you are on the property ladder and will be able to manage your money to go out once a month just make sure you drink enough to make up for the 4 times you were meant to go out.
Do it on a sunday night and make sure you feel so groggy that you dont turn up for work at least a few times. Rinse and repeat and eventually you will get the sack.
By this time you will be feeling even more sorry for yourself (from mess that you caused yourself) and probably will lose your home as well as partner.
Thus growing some MAN bones and maturing to the degree where on the next run you might not make as many mistakes and will find that you are in a better position.
Knowledge is power and with age and experience comes knowledge.
To put it bluntly my friend you firstly need to grow a backbone and get some decent morals. This could take your lifetime but whilst only being a young whipper snapper it is best to get out there and live instead of nagging like some of my exes have.
Its just an excuse get out there and make it happen and if you cant do that then go away and think about how to turn your negatives into positives.
It does require some logic though.

Also don't forget to get your girlfriend pregnant as above and that the dry roasted are the better peanuts to have.
You may even end up with a lovely council house if you follow the right path and get benefits for not doing anything.
Although changing bums and dealing with children (I have 3) can be more challenging than making sandwiches at the best of times.

Your having a laugh pal, look at your finances, you wouldnt be able to hold down a house!
£425 a month for going out! That can go
£150 a month for going out! That can go
£250 a month for food and 'crap' cut the crap and spend £250 on your food bill, dont go out and save that money, then youll have £575 a month to RENT a house (with your financing and attitude a mortgage company wouldnt touch you)
You need to learn to budget and sort your finances out before anthing else, and stop pis*ing it up the wall a on weekend going out! And count yourself lucky you have a job, as many dont.

Yes, I agree, its funny how your mum's words come back to haunt you isn't it?
If we move it to modern day, my daughter earns £470 a month (net) as she works part time, as she is studying for a degree in her spare time through the local University, which she pays £50 a month for.
She runs a car, so she has insurance, petrol tax, maintenance etc, she goes out a couple of times month clubbing, she pays £230 a month board, she has just come back from 2 weeks in Egypt and wil be spending a week in scotland with her brother later this month, AND she eats out once a week with other friends, she smokes, ( I think she spends around £30 a week on cigarettes - her choice) has an iphone which costs her around £35 a month, she pays into her ISA very month and she is frankly rarely home between going to/out with friends, cinema (she also has a monthly cinema membership as she loves films) or working on her coursework- and SHE manages - sometimes its a bit tight, but she budgets well - she has to! I know she went overdrawn at Christmas
but it was cleared by January Pay Day!
However, she gets herself to work (no boss to pick her up) she makes her lunch the night before to take with her, she doesn't get 'extra' for weekend work, it is paid at standard rate, but she does as much as she can to earn the extra money - she also stays late occaisionally if she needs to finish something - and she doesn't expect paying, or even thank about that for the hour couple of hours it takes her to finish a job, and have the satisfaction of knowing its finished!
If this OP is for real, he really wants to GET real - if not then he has allowed us all to rant and get our feeling off our chests hasn't he, and shown us what other out there are not exactly in the real world, AND at times given us all a great laugh at his expense! Great therapy!

working 5 days a week without benefits = £350
working 4 days a week with benefits = £280 from work + £50 jobseekers allowance + housing benefit worth around £60 a week + free hospitals and everything else = more than £400 worth a week and a signing is only once every two weeks so i get a free day every second week and half a free day every week so I be £100 better of a week

I think you need to start re-thinking your lifestyle if you want to save money.
I earn they same as you but I am saving between 600-800£ a month.
I pay £250 in rent(living with parents), spend 250£ a month on petrol and then £200-£300 on my phone, going out, food, clothes.
I am making sacrifices to save this money, I could be eating out all the time, going out spending money on alcohol, buying a whole new wardrobe every month. I don't buy things to treat myself because I want a house and I want to be responsible. Take some responsibility and maybe you'll get to where you want.

Comedy Gold.
We've got an apprentice working in the leisure industry and hes only 20, earning £96 a week. Working 37 hours. The motivation and drive he has is great just that someones given him the chance to learn some skills instead of sat on the dole. The fact your even thinking of the dole as an option proves your on the wrong forum, and obviously have no "get up and go." With this many people telling me my priorities are wrong i'd have to sit up and listen. Be thankful for what you do have, A JOB! I bet if your boss saw this you'd be out the door quicker than you could pick up your empty hand filled, before work, lunch box!

What can any intelligent person say? If you don't like your job get another. If you want to have a desk job don't apply for a labourers position.
Can't get a better job? Figure out why not and fix whatever is wrong with you. Life is pretty basic really. The more useful you make yourself the more someone will pay you to be around.
By the same logic if I need labourers for a project I will pay the least amount of money possible. That's because moving bricks or sweeping rooms is achievable by a human being that has made the least possible effort to learn skills. If a labourer doesn't like the work they are free to go, another will be on site in less than a day - and to be fair I have worked with a few that take it very seriously and make a huge effort. That gets rewarded of course.
