I own a political satire store and received a cease and desist letter for a product that is not on sale. It&#039;s an original artwork depicting a deceased rock star. <br />
The thing is that it&#039;s a hidden page on the website. I&#039;m surprised it even showed up in search results. It was not my intention to have the product on sale.<br />
<br />
Long story short they are asking for £6K + £500 per day. Totally unreasonable imo.<br />

I just need a little guidance to ensure I am keeping my records correctly. <br />
What is classed as stock expense regarding end of year tax return. Can delivery cost, import &amp; vat cost and bank fees be put in expense catergories similar to stationery etc for the tax year they are paid for instead of spreading these costs across the stock?<br />
ie I could buy 100 items at £5 each but including del, import, vat etc, the true total...<br />

I own a company and registered a trademark in the same name 5 years ago. I have now found another new company that has set up selling the same products as me. The new company has simply reversed my company name &quot;Trademark&quot; and started trading and this is causing a conflict because if I search for there name I appear and vice-versa! <br />

I&#039;m a member of a non-VAT registered running club which has recently starting using an online sports clothing retailer to handle kit sales to our members. We buy the kit initially (eg £10 + £2 VAT = £12) from the company.  They keep it in stock and then sell online to our members. Our members might pay £13 including £1.16 VAT). <br />

The company has sent us a summary of last month&#039;s sales and instead of paying us the full £13 sales price, is keeping the £1.16 VAT to be sent to HMRC....<br />
