Voucher Sites & Fake Discount Codes

In the last week, we've had two customers complain that vouchers that they found on various websites haven't worked on our website.

Of course, the vouchers are fake and the websites are just harvesting their email addresses. But, is there anything we can do about this?

What websites are doing so? First up are they affiliates? If they are tell them to remove or drop them.

As someone else also said you can make your own page on coupons and get this to rank so when people search for it they find yours at the top of the results.

If you hit them up and they won't remove them you can also hit up John Mu on Twitter (he's the public face of Google search) and say X sites are ranking for keywords using fake coupons. I have seen him pass on info before to the search engineers to improve what they do. They can also instigate manual reviews of sites and penalise them but wouldn't hold out much hope of that.

Business sold without director/shareholders knowledge

I am sure that if you ask the forum , somebody will check companies house to see if your mother still ownes the shares, of if they were transferred some time ago and who presently ownes them prior to it being sold

There may well have been transfered by the son at a earlier date by the son, who by the looks of it was just using your mothers name to hide him from being seen as the owner

High street shop to warehouse.

Most councils have a 'duty planning officer' or some similar title who will discuss any potential planning schemes with applicants before the formal application is made: My experience is that the advice and practicality of their approach varies markedly from council to council.
It may be better to approach informally via a planning consultant who knows which council official will give the best advice on the likelihood of your scheme being permitted.

Stationery manufacturer sought

Hi, Lucky 8.

We're a UK Stationery manufacturer with a factory near London. We've designed and produced our own quality fashion stationery collections and bespoke private label products for High Street customers in the UK and across the world (both large and small!) for many years. Some of the UK made notebooks you see in the supermarkets and book stores are often ours ;-) Give us a shout if you're interested - we'd be happy to help/advise.

Gym Wear Manufacturers required.

Hi, I am thinking of starting a small fitness athleisure brand. I am searching for a UK manufacture, preferably West Midlands based in which can produce sportswear such as Yoga leggings, T-Shirts, and possibly made from Polyester and Elastane blend. I would also like to print my logo or be within talks of how to incorporate my brand onto the products. The range will be aimed at a Male and Female audience, with low quantity of items needed as I would like to start off small and hopefully increase over time. I'd love to hear from some manufacturers or anyone who has experience with this sort of thing.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Advice sought part II (this is where things get interesting)

Have your plans to move there changed, following your separation? If so then how about surrendering your US citizenship and the liabilities that came with it?
Looked into that, but to this I would have to clear any outstanding IRS returns/taxes, so I'd still have to pay the 40k to prepare the accounts and then any tax liability owed.

Also, if I do go bankrupt, then I may need to look at US for employment - so not an option at the moment.
