brexit already showed that and I guess election results will show that too.. Let’s wait for the election and see the results..Ok. So in the circle of people you know some have racist opinions. That doesn’t extrapolate to ‘many’ people.
That makes no sense at all. What has brexit got to to with the nationality of the former chancellor?brexit already showed that and I guess election results will show that too.. Let’s wait for the election and see the results..
The British people I know, and I know a few having lived here a few decades, simply want someone decent who can do the job. If they don't elect Rishi, it'll be for other reasons, not the colour of his skin. You're coming across as an ace racist.According to us yes, for many people here he is British Indian, in other words, Indian
They should be maintained. What all you socialists forget is that corporation tax (£60 billion last year, an increase of £14.6 billion over the previous year) pay for all the handouts you lot like to give to the work shy (and others), not to mention dividends paid to pension funds etc.I know, it's wonderful. The Tories once again making sure that big business' profits are maintained.
Maybe he can, maybe he can't but if so many on the left are panicking at his possible return, especially in the mainstream media, that's a great argument, in my books, for him to return. So you can't explain how or why you think Johnson can fix this mess.
You can say the same about the NHS, Military, Roads, Railways, the infernal Foreign Aid and the flaming Benefits package. What is your point. You seem to have forgotten that they are not paying for it - that money is coming from your grandchildren. Suck it up, folks! It's what you voted for!

Who? Indians?I know so many who thinks that
My point is that the real cure for high prices is high prices. Subsidising prices or (worse still) introducing price controls distorts the market and leads to gross inefficiencies. You can say the same about the NHS, Military, Roads, Railways, the infernal Foreign Aid and Benefits package. What is your point.
You can almost see the spittle on the screen. They should be maintained. What all you socialists forget is that corporation tax (£60 billion last year, an increase of £14.6 billion over the previous year) pay for all the handouts you lot like to give to the work shy (and others), not to mention dividends paid to pension funds etc.
And if they make profit, they invest, they hire more people, they generate the activity that funnels income tax to the coffers. Most of the money our government has to pay for social programs comes from businesses making a profit.
Maybe he can, maybe he can't but if so many on the left are panicking at his possible return, especially in the mainstream media, that's a great argument, in my books, for him to return.
If I were you I’d get some more intelligent friends!According to us yes, for many people here he is British Indian, in other words, Indian
Because it is no longer government by edict and decree, judged by results. It has become government by micromanagement performed by a thousand bureaucrats, each performing their tasks in perfect accordance with Parkinson's Law - work expands to fill the time allotted!
If prices are high enough there won't BE a next generation for a large part of society. Why does anybody think that a government (esp the illustrious UK one) can actually do anything about what are global factors?
If prices are high, then surely they’ll have to be paid, not artificially squashed so that the next generation suffers.
Yes there will. They will lead much simpler lives less dependant on the technology they rely on for everything. If prices are high enough there won't BE a next generation for a large part of society.
People without homes and without enough money to eat will not produce another generation (ignoring climate change and the dangers of that).Yes there will. They will lead much simpler lives less dependant on the technology they rely on for everything.
Racism was the main reason for Brexit hence the reason Brexit hasnt done anything good but attack immigrantsThat makes no sense at all. What has brexit got to to with the nationality of the former chancellor?
No it wasn’t. Where do you get your strange ideas from?Racism was the main reason for Brexit hence the reason Brexit hasnt done anything good but attack immigrants
The people who complain about racism are often racists themselves. Diane Abbott comes to mindNo it wasn’t. Where do you get your strange ideas from?
It isn't provided now, how will it be in the future when there will be greater demand?People will not be homeless. They may not have the same house as they do now but accommodation will always be provided for those in need.
Not if you are living on the street or in a bed and brteakfast with no cooking facilities. And basic nutritious food can be procured and cooked for very little.
You really are joking, aren't you.we don’t need a society that relies on an app to deliver milk for breakfast instead of a bit of planning and budgeting.
...but it would take 'government interference ' to unlink the gas linked prices?I agree totally, the sooner Governmental interference is dispensed with the better but unfortunately in the Communistic attitude of the UK population that will not happen.
Why is the price of electricity linked to the cost of gas when it produces about 54% of the electricity. I buy from a "green" provider so should not be using Gas at all but still have to pay the Gas-linked price.
No it wasn’t.Racism was the main reason for Brexit hence the reason Brexit hasnt done anything good but attack immigrants
No it was government interference that linked the price of electricity....but it would take 'government interference ' to unlink the gas linked prices?
The government should work for the people to increase opportunity, nationally and internationally. You can't expand your business if your government taxes you to oblivion but equally you can't do a jot if your government doesn't open up markets. Individuals can't force a foreign government to lower import duty etc.
Please god NOA simple thread to see how the UKBF community responds to the titled question?
I am not affiliated to any party.
My answer is Yes.
A simple Yes or No is fine, or feel free to add further content![]()

Nobody currently in accomodation will be evicted in a recession. There are numerous safeguards in place to prevent this happening. It isn't provided now, how will it be in the future when there will be greater demand?

You probably don’t know many of the dyed in the wool conserveratiWho are these many people? Nobody I know thinks that.
I am sorry, you are living in cloud cuckoo land. For a start every tenant can currntly be evicted by their landlord simply giving 2 months' notice. Every mortgage payer can be evicted if they fail to pay thier mortgage. Both these things need court orders but the orders will be given at the drop of a hat.Nobody currently in accomodation will be evicted in a recession. There are numerous safeguards in place to prevent this happening.
We may find out on October 31st.Come April, energy cost help will become more targeted. It needs to be, otherwise thw bill will spiral out of control. And why not? Why does a millionaire with far more disposable income need more help than someone on minimum wage?
The question is how will this all be paid for. Hunt has not ruled out a windfall tax. We'll fnd out on October 31st.
But what about the people you don't see? They do exist.Judging by all the people I see spaffing their money on M&S coffee in the mornings, coupled with the abundance of fastfood delivery outlets & couriers I see everywhere, there are still a lot of people who have plenty of disposable income!
Also in 4 of the 5 proper local pubs who do Sunday roasts, you still need to book a week in advance (£17 pp).
He CAN'T pull out, he was never in! I see that he is still lying, saying he has 102 nominations. Yeah, right.BORIS JOHNSON PULLS OUT OF THE TORY LEADERSHIP CONTEST- THE TIMES POLITICAL EDITOR TWEET
Pound is trading up on the open tonight
Sorry, I'm a bit lost, what's an EI member? He said " Turkey would become a EI I member" to scare oeople off.. Even Turks laughed ar at that but people believed in that.
Immigrants to which country? Those Britains who are lucky enough to migrate to the EU, I suppose?Brexit, in the long term, will benefit immigrants.
