A simple thread to see how the UKBF community responds to the titled question?

I am not affiliated to any party.

    My answer is Yes.

A simple Yes or No is fine, or feel free to add further content :)

As a lifelong Tory I said when the leadership competition came down to the final two that if Liz Truss won I would never vote for them again.

As a previously Boris supporting Brexiteer I now make the same pledge that if he wins I won't vote Tory.

In addition to all of wrongdoings highlighted by the media I was watching PMQs when Ian Blackford was castigating Boris over his handling of the covid crisis saying that his actions had caused more deaths than should have happened and the cameras cut to Boris who was sitting there smirking

No. His behaviour and general presentation has clearly lowered the standards in Parliament. As a result we have this shambles of a Government that is making us the laughing stock.

They didn’t give us a chance of a second referendum but they should give us a second chance by way of a General Election.

Good for you. Sadly, a large percentage of the party membership don't share your principles.

Don’t care, stopped voting over a decade ago, it doesn’t matter who becomes the PM, this week or in the next 50 years. The whole lot, all MP’s of all parties are useless IMO.

I could be more descriptive but I do not wish to cause any offence.
You could stand for election yourself and bring positives to parliament, but I guess your to busy, just like all the other people who moan and do nothing themselves

Only interested in my family now, the rest can suffer for all I care. I have 3-10 years left, not enough time to put this mess right.

Out of a blue, he created nation that hates my heritage nation (Turkey)
Really? One may not agree with the policies of a country but to suggest everyone in the UK hates another country is a little far fetched.

It's somewhat surreal. IF Boris stands, and IF he gets 100 backers, it looks like he is favourite to win the members' vote.

I mean, I supported the guy, but now is seriously not the time. WHY did they let the members near this one? Because they did such a good job picking a new PM last time?

If I was a conspiracy theorist, I'd suspect Truss deliberately effed things up so Boris could return post-haste.

I would love to have Boris back.

    Am I the only one?

I want him back not because he's squeaky clean, or a comedy character, or good at the hustings or whatever. I have no such arguments for him returning.

I want him back purely because of the number of (and the kind of) people who would get p*ssed off at his return. The Guardian is already having a meltdown at the very thought of him even standing. They are going red (or do Guardianistas go "native American"?) in the face, they are foaming at the mouth, they are jumping up and down in their ethically sourced, gender neutral, vegan sandals.

I'm finding that surprisingly calming and therapeutic.

Because of him my company lost money ( alot!) ,

Out of a blue, he created nation that hates my heritage nation (Turkey)

But I want him back as I don't see anyone else who can fix this mess
Could you explain HOW you expect him to fix this mess? And, if you can't, please could you explain WHY you think so?

I would hate to see Boris return, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did win the leadership election.

I find this all so depressing. People are suffering. We have people who can no longer afford their mortgages or their rent. Food bills are going up at the same time. People who are already in debt are getting deeper into debt because of rising interest rates, and if anyone complains, they just get told to stop being liberal left-wing losers.

I find it shocking that people can honestly think the Tories care. The Tories tell the poor that if they work hard, they will make a lot of money one day. Of course, this is right-wing rubbish designed to get people to vote for them, and if they fail to deliver, they'll turn around and say you didn't work hard enough.

Brexit happened and there is no turning back. Although, the only thing if succeed is "immigration" . The rest, especially economy is in total mess.
People vote for Brexit and majority conservatives behind the Brexit, they better sort out this. The only leader
within the party, as it shown with the recent news, is Boris.
By the way, this post is posted before the latest news so i knew this for months

Regarding Rushi, I dont think this country is ready for Indian PM. Please dont attack me for saying that.. He'll always stay as an candidate but he will never be elected in party election, yet along general election.

Between Rushi vs Boris, If Rushi ever wins, I got a feeling, family will just get richer. If Boris wins, he'll still walk in belly hanging, just about to fall down trousers and messy hair. He wont change!

Unless we cancel Brexit, I dont think Stammer can do anything to fix any of the problem.

Boris lead to all mess, let him sort this out.

He's British not Indian. Born in Southampton. His parents were born in Africa.

I want Boris back, but only if he is found guilty of misleading the House two months later by the Privileges Committee so that he can be thrown out of parliament - PM number four! Then the farce would have reached its logical climax!

Britain would break apart into its regions, the pound would reach parity with the turnip, the economy would collapse, all government activity in England would cease and police, fire service, NHS staff, the military, air traffic control and a thousand other services would stop and we could have the ultimate chaos of civil war.

Fleeing English refugees camp on the Scottish border at Gretna Green and Glaswegians collect money for refugee aid packages outside Lidls and Aldi. Boris Johnson and Priti Patel caught trying to flee the country in a rubber dingy heading to France.

Guy Faulks Night is now Boris Night and effigies of him are burnt every Novermber 5th. The pound is now replaced by the Turnip. There are ten Beans to the Potato and ten Potatoes to the Turnip.

Johnson runs for President of The United States on a Republican ticket.

    Well, I can dream, can't I?

According to us yes, for many people here he is British Indian, in other words, Indian
Who are these many people? Nobody I know thinks that.

I got a letter yesterday saying I had a Winter Fuel allowance which is generous (about 50% of my annual bill) - Boris and Rishy organised that so I want them back, not necessary in that order.
I know, it's wonderful. The Tories once again making sure that big business' profits are maintained.
