Click Bots are getting more and more sophisticated making it harder to identify the difference between real and fake visitors.

Even Fraud Blockers are finding it harder to distinguish between real and fake traffic.

This makes you wonder what the future of paid traffic looks like and where will this end.

Go more niche. The more long tail the keywords the less they will attract the attention of the bots. you may get fewer clicks but you will get higher conversions.

Are you blocking all IPs outside the UK?

It doesn't matter if they are long tail, generic or shopping, they will still get found. IP blocking will only stop the ad from being served to that country, if your ads are in a click farm they'll get clicked from traffic from all around the world regardless of IP restrictions.

I get about 1 click per day. Which is fine for me as most project take 2-3 days. No problem with click-fraud

We were 25k+ yesterday. Adwords isn't going away anytime soon.
Google are good at offsetting click farms, competitors etc and it's a lot smaller of a problem than maybe you think it is.

With such low search volume you'd do well to get a click or two per month, and you'd still be competing with those going broad on words within the phrase, in a competitive industry it doesn't work
