Hi everyone,
After spending years speaking with business owners, investors and entrepreneurs, one thing kept coming up again and again.
Finding the right people is often much harder than finding people.
Business owners struggle to find investors who are genuinely interested in their sector or stage of growth. Investors receive countless approaches that aren’t relevant to their investment criteria. People looking for business partners often rely on chance introductions, networking events or existing contacts.
It made me wonder why, in a world where technology matches us with jobs, homes and even relationships, business networking is still largely based on who you happen to know.
That’s what led me to build Pitchr.
Pitchr is a business relationship platform that matches business owners, investors and operators based on detailed business profiles and what they’re actually looking for. Whether you’re seeking investment, looking to acquire a business, searching for a co-founder or exploring partnership opportunities, the aim is to make those introductions far more relevant than traditional networking.
We’re still in the early stages, which is why I’m looking for founders, investors and business professionals who’d be interested in trying it and, more importantly, helping shape where it goes next.
I’d genuinely value any feedback from this community. Equally, I’d love to hear how you’ve found investors, business partners or acquisition opportunities in the past. What’s worked well, and what hasn’t?
Pitchr is available now on the Apple App Store, with the Android version currently in closed testing and due for public release soon.
If you’d like to give it a try or learn more, you can find it on the App Store, just search for Pitchr (you may need to adjust the search as it’ll give you results for ‘Pitcher’ by default!).
Android: If you’d like to join the closed test, just send me a message and I’ll happily add you.
Thanks for reading.
