What is your hosting link? I would like to look in your offer. Thank you.
It's not up yet, we don't usually host but 'M.B Studios' is going to be up soon, just offered this for anyone stuck at the moment, everything is done from your hosting on my server, you don't login through my site. PM me and I'll send you demo links.

Can anyone recomend someone else I can try for hosting my shop. Even if store2go come back up online, I'm afraid I have lost all trust. I have lost out on my subscription fee, that I only paid last week, and a whole weeks hard work down the drain :( I had no back up, an new to all this, and was still finding my feet.

To think that up until January we only had a eBay store and have survived attacks from evil competitors and fraudulent customers, and we could lose a months turnover beacause of our host. Of all the people for us to lose money too.

They should really have their own website or a status/support system hosted away from their clients websites so when problems do occur with the server, clients will always be able to get in touch.

Does Store2go have any facility to export all your data/customers/products etc?

They have a facility to download a file to use on Froogle, but that's no good as Froogle no longer exists does it?

They must do, everyone thats transferring to me are going to send database over, then I can just use converter to change everything to zen cart.

it's not just the money for me. Ive had spiritcharms for 7 months, a lot of time and hard work as gone into the website, constantly tweeking and adding products and such. The thought of starting from scratch is a nightmare. If ever my site comes on line again, im going to try to back it up myself, although i have to say i havent a clue how to do it. I tried FTPing it when i first got it, but there just isnt that faciliaty on store2go. In fact i was told by them that i didnt have to, as it was backed up for me.... Ive never liked not having a copy on my pc though, and i can see why not now. even free wedsites (like the ones on trypod) as FTP access.....

Most hosted on-line shops don't provide access to the site databases or FTP access, I think store2go is a custom built shopping cart so migrating to another shopping cart is going to be very difficult.

I opened my site in April 2007. I can see everyone is going through this nightmare. I can't even imagion what to do if I have to rebuild elsewhere.
I have been out picking up the kids, am I right in saying some stores have come back and some not still? Mine is not showing up at all.

Still cant get in mine either, but it looks like other folk on here can, depending on where you live i think... or maybe not, as i remember a post way back in this topic where i believe somebody said, they could get store2go sites downstairs, but in the same house, upstairs (different pc) they couldnt....

if that made any sence:|

Just found a way to get to my cached pages on google. this is what people are seeing when they say they have got into their sites but there are no images. the cached pages dont hold any images, only text, the images are kept on store2go server. if the images dont show on the cached pages, it means the server is down, or playing up, as this is where the images are fed from on the cached pages:|

Adrian the IT/owner of store2go has just e-mailed me (wonders will never cease!) He said "I also have a COUPLE of other store users saying they have problems with accessing the control panel. I do not see a problem at my end and our server status shows no reported issues. However I have contacted our server, they will contact me later today or tomorrow morning" Adrian also suggested that I restart my router, which did not help. He also asked if i had e-mails from customers that could not access my site, I replied that I could not access my site to check the e-mails (the man is driving me crazy!)
