Store2go.net Is it down??

I have tried cleaning the cache and all the rest of things one would do, nothing is working. Cannot access my site or the login page to the control panel. I tried phoning directory enquiries to get a phone number quoting store2go address but no number listed.

Well looks like this problem is sorting itself out, but if anyone needs a temporary store free of charge PM me and I'll set it up for you.

EDIT: Will obiously host it too free of charge

We should all contact store2go regarding compensation.

This is very odd. I wonder if those who cant get on are in the same region. I dont really know much about this side of things, but it's almost as if there is a problem upline that maybe goes into our region or something....

explains why we are still getting hits and sales, but we cant actually get on the site ourselfs (some of us)

You could be right, though I do not know much about this side of things as well. My site is having hits outwith the UK only according to sitemeter

Remember to make backups of all you stuff when you do get back on, that way you will now loss much data. If you have a Database that is the most important thing to backup.

I dont know if you are a store2go uk1host, but i cant get onto yours either.

I'm in Sheffield - S13 and I can get on, someone 2 mins away from me can't get on and my brother upstairs can't get on either! Very weird if you ask me!

we should definitely go for some sort of compensation...

just point them in the direction of this thread and point out its had nearly 1500 views, majority of which is from business owners, and it wont do their reputation any good if theyre not seen to be acting in the right way!

What can we do right now? There must be a way to contact these people? Does anyone know if the gentleman Adrian is the owner or is he only IT guy?

Yeah, we could setup a site, www.never-use-store2go.com and then show them it, get everyone on UKBF to visit it and show how many users will cancel their contract if no compensation is given! Although I'm sure a few of you will cancel it anyway. A full day offline, I bet they remove the line *never use a company that doesn't guarantee 99% uptime!

just a thought... those people who cant get on, you arent with 123 reg hosting your site url ?

if its not store2go, then there must be a common link to why the url isnt working, im with 123reg also, so if anybody else is, it could be a problem they are having... i dont know though, just trying to work it out.. (although that wouldnt explain why some can get on, and other cant....)

am baffled to buggery and back with this :-)

I will have to look at this company when it comes back on line to see what the services are that is is offering. I am taking a guess it is hosting and an online shop.

I can access them, yes you can get just the shopping cart £1 a month, normal shop with hosting £4 a month I think and then higher ones.

This is making me VERY VERY ANGRY!!!

I just spent a fortune on magazine advertising. The magazine was released yesterday, just as all this started. This is going to make my business look so stupid compared to our competitors. It could even have longer lasting repercusions on sales.

PM me, I'll sort you out with a free package with us. Just temporarily until they go fully back online, or when you decide whether your staying with them!

People who can't access their stores wont be able to for a while, and returning customers probably wont either.
