Just an idle question, I posted a link onto my work facebook page this morning, as I do most mornings, and a dog magazine with over one million likes shared it about 30 minutes ago. My reach has gone through the roof for a normal post, but there's nothing on the dog magazine's share to indicate it came from my page. No 'via Busters Dogs', nor my comments that I put on my share of the link.
Does my page get any benefit from this sharing? My post is currently showing as having
6,682 people reached
Normally I'm lucky to get a 10th of that over a couple of days, so I'm just wondering, if there is any benefit to my facebook page to having all this 'reach' if no-one actually sees my page from it anyway? No new 'likes' so far... And before you say it, I'm not 'chasing likes', I just use my page to chat to my current customers, and share their dogs' daily activities, and if I put on an event to share that in facebook groups etc to try to get customers/visitors to that event.
But it would be nice to take advantage of this bonus if I can in some way...
