There are some good hosting companies on here, do a search or speak to matrixx

We supply both UK and US servers.
The main difference (except a milliseconds response time) is volume of data and possible you'll get a higher spec machine for the same money in the US - but if a servers configured right this makes very little difference.
Both our UK and US servers are hands on i.e. I can have an engineer in either datacentre and hands on the server if theres a problem.
We'd be happy to chat things through with you. Our prices are a little higher but we do all the server maintenance AND monitor uptime with sms alerts included to you and us as part of the package - and no hidden extras.

I was beggining to like this place until I realised it just a place for moderators to sell things...![]()
Why can't people just give advice without pushing the hard sell all the time? This guy just wanted to know the difference in UK & USA servers - How is that an invite to "come chat with us and we will sell you something..."?
RANT OVER - I'LL GET MY COAT.

No probs m8 - I certainly don't ask people to recommend me on the forums but am really grateful when they do and I generally recommend others when responding to something like this - although this time the others (You and VS) had already posted!
Actually I tend to lose business as a moderator rather than gain it because I have to keep the sales side of me quiet and not abuse my moderator position.
Easier said than done when you're really keen to help people
Anyway I hope your day gets better!
No hard feelings
