So, what is a consulting system administrator?
Online is a key part of your business. A lot of businesses choose to rely on the large service providers when they start up, but if and when requirements change many may find that support is hard to come by and it's hard to reach anything resembling a human being for any kind of help. When, or even before that happens, is where it's useful to have someone with experience in setting up systems and services that work for you available.
I've been a sysadmin specialising in internet systems for over 30 years. This has included setting up web servers of all kinds, mail servers, DNS, virtual machine servers and all the standard components of the web, as well as dealing with hosting providers, developers and anything else that makes online business work.
My elevator pitch is human sized open source support services, which is about being able to talk to someone about what you want to do online, and being able to do it with tools that aren't tied to one mega-business or another.
If that's the sort of thing you think you might need, and who can blame you these days, please get in touch.
