New business needs domain name ideas!

Hi all i've posted before about my business im setting up but im trying to get my website online but can not think of a domain name....

I have tried

leedsdomesticcleaners.co.uk
domesticcleanersleeds.co.uk
ldc.co.uk

I want something that google will pick up easy and not to long either....

The domain name must be .co.uk

Any ideas would be great

We could brainstorm all day for you and we would have fun doing so. However, the best ideas will come from playing around with the Google's Keyword Tool, Try and base your domain name around the one of the keywords you want to get found for under organic searches.

I don't think there is anything worse than a domain name with a hypen in.

Try not to abbreviate if possible. Leeds cleaning business would b e better remembered than LCB. Although thats all down the branding I guesss

Domain Name & Business Name & Brand & Company Name !

Ideally you will have one business name and it will be the same name for your domain, your business brand and your business name.
However you will find that all of the short and identifiable domain names are not available.

So....assuming you are based in Manchester, your business is called 'Northern Plumbing Limited' and you run a home plumbing business. Then you should register two or more domains:

www.manchesterplumbers.com
Or:
www.manchesterplumbers.co.uk

And:

www.northernplumbing.com
Or:
www.northernplumbing.co.uk


With this in mind, you should ideally print www.northernplumbing.com on your business stationery (business cards, letterheads etc) and you index www.manchesterplumbers.com on search engines as it contains search engine keywords and more importantly, it says exactly what you do.

When you have settled on several available name choices, see what your friends and clients have to say. A name that may make perfect sense to you may be too hard for other people to remember. Is your domain easy to say? Is it hard to spell? Do you have to explain why you chose the name?

Hi thanks guys for all your help and yes we are just starting up in Leeds but will expand to cover all west yorkshire to follow our business plan....

not sure if you are aware but you have no metadata such as keywords or adequate title tags in your site...

Hi dave yes i know not got round to doing them yet but once the site is lauched today the meta tags will all be in place.... Usually when i do websites i manage to get good rankings in google so hopefully this site will be the same...
