Hi Dave - hope you are well and continuing to be busy in your life. I am certainly kept busy. My business is a year old now and going well enough.

I hope you don't mind me bothering you with a question but I helped one of my clients with some content management updating recently and she had to contact her web designer to make some changes in the locked areas. He came back and said the following: Another thing - The Title information on your home page is reading incorrectly, this should be kept very short and simple. It currently runs off the page and contains html tags which should be hidden.

I had a look at her site and couldn't see any html tags but checked in source and seen that there may be a stray one at the end which I can fix easily enough. But what about the advice re the title? I've checked a few search terms, ie website design, and many of the top-ranking (on Google) sites have long titles. I'm a bit miffed because I told her to put together a good title based on which search terms she thought her potential clients might use and now he's come along and said that and made me look like a bit of an idiot. I wanted to get some advice from a trusted expert (and I know how much SEO research you have done) before going back to her. If the guy is right, that's fair enough, I'll eat my humble pie but if not ....

      Thanks so much

      Sharon :)
