Find a site you like and look at who developed it. Dont tell them how much you want to spend up front though

Good advice... if the op wasn't a troll

The OP doesn't have 20 pence to throw together, let alone £8k

He has had more threads than even Citizens erased about "business ideas".

Don't bother PM'ng for "info".

That is your opinion and I am to take it from your comment that you are well versed in the creation of websites? If so, why not recommend a website designer?

Yes, I am very well versed in the creation of websites, thank you; but even if I wasn't you do not need to look very hard to see that it is a particularly poor effort.
I don't do recommends but if I did, it would probably be Fisicx or Red Evo simply because they know their trade inside out. There is a lot more to a website than sticking a few lines of text and images into the template of a cms.

Whats that got to do with it?

The end users, public/customers etc are the ones that really matter in deciding whether anything is 'good'.

Perhaps a quick look on your own site might be worth a go.

White text on a near white background - you gonna say thats good too?

My company web site does need changing because I don't like it, never have, but it was up there when I bought the company, as I have spent my time turning the company around, and as I am now selling the company I don't see any reason to change it, I will let the new owner change it.
Thank you for the infos though:)

It is interesting to see that you don't do recommendations on a business forum?

I am doing my own website, with doyourownsite.co.uk and it's costs me under £25 for registering my domain name, 2 yr hosting. I pay a small monthly fee for a business package with a shopping cart.

With 5-8k I can start a new business lol.
