Hi guys I need some help, I need a cheap but good Managed VPS or shared host that supports magento.

I Have a cheap vps but the support is rubbish and my sites are down once a month.

Have you looked at rackspace? We have used them and are very good. They are expensive, but you pay for you get in this industry.

Also can you provide us some details. i.e what is the site? how many daily visits? how much bandwidth? etc etc.

You get what you pay for. The hardware to power a good VPS will cost in excess of £5k/server so carving that up and selling it out at £5/month doesn't work. Or you can cut corners on the hardware and you end up in the position you are in now.

What is your budget? As a rule, 10% of revenue of the e-commerce store should be invested into the hosting infrastructure to support it.

Well my VPS hosting is with a US company which has a us data centre,thw hardware is good its mostly been software issues or DDOS attacks.
