Magento Site a Mess in Firefox 3.6

Hi,

Just upgraded my Firefox to 3.6 (bit late I know). However when I view my Magento site in FF 3.6 it is a total mess. Menus all over the place, nav bar gone, product page is basically unreadable etc.......

I've contacted my web designer, is it just a case of getting them to write another CSS stylesheet for FF 3.6? It has no cross browser issues in IE 8, 7, 6 or Chrome and old FF and ok in Safari aswell.

Hopefully it is not too much work to get it sorted. Does Magento have different CSS for each browser?

Unfortunately not, the best way to write a stylesheet is to code so it works in all new browsers like FF, safari, chrome and opera then do seperate IE stylesheets for each version e.g. 6 and 7 are the most common.
If the site is a mess in ff then it sounds like your designer built the site for IE, which is the wrong way to approach it. 99% of the time a site that does well in ff and safari, will display 100% in ie, every so often you might need to fix a small issue in ie (I had this last week, where the margins were wrong in ie).

Just get your designer to redo the whole stylesheet for ff then do an ie fixes in a seperate sheet
