Just read this in our school mag, from a book called Odes for Grandparents:

Grannies are much better
Than Dads and Mums;
They don't make you eat greens
Or finish your sums.

They let you watch telly
And stay up quite late;
Eat sweets by the ton
And drink pop by the crate.

Let you watch films
With zombies and things;
Let you eat icecream
While swinging on swings.

They weren't easy-going
