local number diverted to mobile - Suggestions

Im looking to get a local number set up that diverts to mobiles so i can give my customers a home number that can always reach me.

I also want this to be able to be diverted to a voicemail at certain times e.g. out of office hours.

The cheapest i have found is

£5 setup fee plus £7 per month plus diversion fees of 10p per minute Peak, 9p per min off Peak, 6p per min weekends to divert to a mobile

You could buy a local number from voipfone and have it diverted to your mobile. I did this a while ago. *From memory* there's no diversion fee, the number cost £2.49 a month. Calls are similar price. It can top up automatically as you wish, i.e every £20, £50, etc.

I dont have my own bt line plus im always out.

Secondly voipfone charge 12p per minute to divert numbers to a mobile phone so is more expensive.

I have this done through voipfone £3.95 a month and £1.99 for a local no. if I remember right never had a problem works a treat.

I do this through Voipfone too, its about £3 i pay a month and then the top up when needed too!

Never had a problem! Recommend highly!

I do it through my broadband package.

Orange max get you home number, if you already have land line number previously, you will have 2 numbers.

The broadband number can be diverted to any mobile phone for free. I pay 20 quid every month, for everything, internet (unlimited 8MB speed), phone call (free call to geographical line anytime), free international call to the listed countries (about 100), no BT line rental, and obviously that divertion service,..

I use voicehost as its pay as you go type contract so you can control the costs you can apply for a local number for only 2.50 per month and you can download fring and run the extension through your mobile data. Best bit is there is an office hours feature and if you have anyone on voicehost calls to voicehost to voicehost are free.

Ah, memory is a funny thing.

We charge £1.99 per month for a geographic number. No set up fees and no contract.

The divert costs 1p per minute to a landline and 12p per minute to a mobile.
