Alternative VOIP/mobile landline service that offers desktop phones (we use Tamar at the moment)

We use Tamar as our provider. We have a landline number and any calls to this number get diverted to staff mobiles.

We've got it set so it rings 2 of the staff team at the same time. First one that picks up gets the call and it stops ringing on the other phone.

For outgoing calls there is an app on the mobile which staff can use which mimics as if they're calling from their landline number.

All works really well but the team have requested some physical handsets in our office. Unfortunately Tamar don't offer this. Their software only works on mobile devices.

In terms of usage. Last month (March) we received 88 calls using 157 minutes.

New service also needs voicemail. If a call isn't answered the caller can leave a voicemail. Currently this gets emailed as an attachment to the group.

Any help on new providers appreciated.

Sure, that's what we do

Give us a call - 0345 868 555 - they're tech support, not sales, they'll just give you straight forward information.

Thanks for the replies. The majority of our outgoing calls are to mobiles. Not many people use landlines these days.

I'm leaning towards the yay.com option as they charge mobiles at 1p per minute

Voipfone looks to charge 7p per minute which is quite a bit more expensive.

No missed call looks to be a receptionist replacement service which we're not really after.

    Any other suggestions appreciated.

Diverting a call to our mobile app is free. We charge 7ppm to call a mobile without the app. Various plans make that significantly cheaper.

Yay charge 7.5p per minute to call a UK mobile outside a plan.

@cjd just tried to ring 0345 868 555 and get this is an incorrect number. Is that the right number?
It's missing an extra 5, should have been 5555 at the end :D
