    Hi guys,

i've been using my mobile phone for a few years now but would like to get an area code number using VOIP to put on future business cards/social media etc. Also hopefully making it easier if I go away to turn off the number/set multiple answer phone messages for evening/weekends as well.

Would the best way be to purchase the landline number through a voip service then forward all my incoming mobile calls to the new landline from my mobile number? My mobile phone/number is used for 85/90% business calls.

Not sure if I could divert all incoming mobile calls to the voip number expect the very few family ones I have?

Yes I believe this is the best thing to do. But keep in mind as your mobile is already being used for business it's not going to stop those calls unless you are able to change every reference of your number to your new one.

I use https://airlandline.co.uk/ for the same reason and have been very happy with their service.

Voipfone offer a great service - see here for a UKBF deal!

If you join Your Business Community, you can get a free landline number and have calls diverted to your mobile for free!

Two ways to do this currently

    1) take a geographic number and divert it to your mobile. This is simple but does create another call that you'll be charged for.

    2) take a number and use it on our free mobile phone app. No charges for this but obviously needs a mobile data connection.

In a few weeks - I hope! - we'll have a full mobile product so you can have your landline on your mobile, integrated fully with the Voipfone and another 07 number (if you need one). Or you can port your existing 07 number

    Cheers guys.

Not sure where I stand with my current mobile phone number being under contract with vodafone (sim only deal).

Calls requiring internet is completely fine as Vodafone mobile signal doesn't work half the time anyway in my area so i'm used to that.

Was hoping to have mobile calls ported to the new landline number so when I go away I can set voice messages/turn off the phone for evening weekends and both landline and mobile number go to the same answer phone message.

Will port forwarding my mobile number effect whatsapp as that's setup with whatsapp for business, also what will happen if someone texts my mobile number when it's been forwarded to the landline number?

I currently have a lot of my clients saved to my google account so when they call up it shows there name and not just number. I pressume I can import those contacts to the voip system so I see the names rather than just numbers?

If I port the my mobile phone number will I still have the data side of my sim card for cellular data?

At the moment you can't port your 07 number to a landline service, but you can use a VoIP landline number on your existing mobile.

This stuff is a lot easier to explain in conversation than text. Give us a call - the guys are support not sales, they'll explain it properly. 0345 868 5555

Use bonline.com - and if you want £25 credit you can use our code - DM me for it

Calls come in to your bonline app, so you know it is a business call, and can make out from your app also.

It's about £11 a month unlimited UK calls in and out. After paying your first month by direct debit, which is billed around the 1st, and taken on 11th of the month, credit will be applied, effectively next 2 months free.
