Is Google using infinite scrolling for search results on desktop by default now?

Noticed over the past couple of days that Google is using infinite scrolling on the results pages on my desktop.

Is this the default setting for everyone now on desktop?

I saw it about 2 months ago. Then they removed it. I had a Chrome update this morning but no infinite scroll.

Looks like it is dependent of what Google account you are signed in to.

When signed in to older account I get it paged

Created a new Google Account last week, and when using that one, I am getting the scrolling results

I'm in the UK, been seeing infinite scroll for the last few days on desktop, but this morning back to pages. No Chrome update during this period and not signed in. Testing I guess.
