dynamic08 ok, here we go if you have a handle to fit to a cupboard you need a gauge The ingenious gadget that takes the stress out of accurately fitting handles and knobs.
Eliminate costly drilling mistakes
Ensure all handles straight and level - 100% the same on every door
Works horizontally and vertically
How it works in detail:
Place your handle on the door were you would like them, make sure the gauge is flush with the end of the door.
Slide the bottom gauge until it lines up with the screw hole on the handle, this is number 0, and pull out the top gauge until it corresponds with the second screw hole on the handle. This will give you say 0-6 when you line up the centre of both screw holes it is locked, so mark and drill. Its that easy; Go to your next-door, place the gauge flush to the door, mark and drill. This gauge is locked in this position until you move the inner gauge or slide the top gauge. The end of the gauge has 3mm lines to help place your handles in or out. Place the gauge on the cupboard or draw front, mark the end of the gauge with a pencil. Slide the gauge until you have the desired place, mark and drill. So if you moved the gauge three lines over you do the same on the next cupboard or draw front, Mark and drill. sold on ebay
