I think every country should fine them for that wi fi collect they did. That seriously was invasion of privacy.

What is even more serious is that they "did not refrain from using the data" after promising to delete it. That suggests to me that they thought they would just hang on to it until the outcry had passed.

And this is the company, who pay little tax in the UK, that David Cameron wants to butter up to!

Oh. I thought you'd be talking about The Guardian's method of swerving around a tax burden, (just like Barclays etc., legally)

(Attempt to stay on thread: I Googled the link..):)

Let's try to keep this on Google. The Guardian is not in bed with the Prime Minister. ;)

So, the same old yawwnnn.
That was a joke bdw, remember fun? But I suppose to an obsessive that would be easy to miss.
Boring old scrote.

Fun over then? I see you have reverted back to your insulting, offensive mode.

Yaaaawwwn! So predictable.

Only in response to the inevitable dullness of your replies my little chickadee.
The ineffable brilliance of 'yaaaawwnnn' is top of your repertoire of wit and repartee I'm sure: such insight, such razor sharp thought.
Still, must move on and let you get on with your fascinating catalogue of provincial Korean policemen having a go at the evil overlord Google.

I rest my case.
(If you Google Thesaurus you will find other words for yaawnn....):)

This thread still going on? Has anyone found any evidence yet that Google has collected any data from anyone without their permission? And I don't count the accidental and frankly useless data they logged to a minuscule degree whilst providing a first of its kind record of our planet.

Of course they watch your browsing habits and 'sell' to you (by proxy via others adverts). I have a shop and I sell to my customers taking into account what I have seen them looking at!!! Can someone please explain the difference? Just scared because it's virtual and you can't 'see' it happening in real time?
