Employers liability insurance

Ok so I’ve registered a business and I’m a bit unsure. My business is in engineering and I’m awaiting to secure a premises, as I will not be trading for 4 to 6 weeks do I need employers liability insurance now or can it wait until I move into my my premises. Many thanks for any advice

You will need employers liability insurance as there is more than one director.

I know I will need it but when is my question as we will not be working until we move into our premises so am I able to start cover on the day we get the keys for the premises
