Can anyone recommend a good printing Co?

Vistaprint have always been consistent when I don't want to spend much. Or go local and see what;'s the best price your local one can do - prob would like the business.

Why go to a printer for letterheads, you can do this on your own computer and just print with the letterhead each time, much mroe cost effective.

Manor print in Wotton under Edge do good quality cards ate a realistic price - more expensive than Vistaprint, but better qaulity

There are alot of good printers on ebay,one I have used personally

1000 letterheads for £65,it's cheaper than printing yourself and far better quality.They do 5000 a5 flyers for £50,use them all the time.We've even had them deliver to us the same day(we do order alot ;)).

Vistaprint are very poor quality,wouldn't touch them myself,depends on the image you want to create.For high quality cards we use holographic ones like the ones on http://creattica.com/business-cards/coolest-holographic-businesscard/39610 not cheap,a friend has a supplier in Germany, but no one forgets you that for sure.

bump on Vistaprint. Great prices, lots of deals and timely delivery. Be sure to get on their marketing list (if you can control your spending lol); they frequently give out free stuff.

I agree about the letterheads - print them on the letter (use a laser printer), unless you send a lot of letters!!!

You can get good business cards from several places, but, I would not choose Vistaprint.

I've always found Solo Press to be pretty good or Vista Print can be cost effective. I know that Solo Press do packages of business cards and letterheads for a single price and they have a design team. I've used Print24 for postcards and flyers and they've been reasonable quality and much cheaper than most other printers that I've come across (never used them for letterhead though).

Personally I'd agree with some of the other comments and wouldn't bother printing letterhead, unless you know you're going to be sending out a lot of correspondence (which I'm guessing you're not if you're only looking at a print run of 1,000?). I tend to find boxes of letterhead sit in the corner gathering dust!

Doesn't anyone see that letterheads landing on someones desk on quality paper and great branding will impress the receiver?

Or doesn't that matter anymore??

Its a genuine question.

I mentioned www.weprintanything4u.com also because they design aswell.

Print is a commodity so just go for the cheapest, your within your rights to reject a print job if the quality is bad so just make this clear when ordering and they will pay extra attention to your job!

Hi

I'm not sure if it's just me but whenever I see a letterhead which has been printed on an office laser or inkjet printer, I'm a little put off. I've deen some horrendous ones where the inkjet printer has been low on ink and images are streaky and not properly formed.

Personally I would recommend you look for a local printer to produce your letterheads, business cards etc. You will find on-line the cheapest, and will get good quality. Buy you wont get the personal service and local relationship, which I value highly.

I use gotprint it is the cheapest I've seen, great customer service too, I use them for all of my client print stuff, they also have a white label service which is great for design agencies.

Loads of people on here have used Neil at scubaprint.com who is a long time member on here and is very reliable, quick turnaround and good prices. We don't have much printing requirements but when we do we use Neil.

I'd agree with all of the above. I'm very happy with the business cards I received from http://www.scubaprint.com. Only ordered earlier this week and arrived today in time for a conference on Monday. Many thanks, Neil!
