Today just wondered, what kind of small business I should buy? And which businesses will generate less income after brexit? I’m interrested in business with net profit £100k.

I will go 50 50 with you Noah but only if we can register our office at 55 Tuffton Street London
I know whereof you speak - spiritual, if not actual, home of Sir Bufton Tufton - actually wouldn't be surprised if there were some... cross-fertilisation with some inhabitants of that vaunted address and Seaborne Freight.

Pick our own turnip (only one per family) farm.
Offer close security protection for the Royal family.
Set up a fake international Driving Permit site.

  • Mobile paint trailer. Go directly to the customer's door.
  • Retro cars dealer. Cars import from Japan, or Italy. Maybe USA.
  • Something directed towards Russians or Poles in the UK.
A lot of ideas.

They have similarities, neither is a revolution, yet. Both involve suppression of the masses by the use of the media, under the guise of democracy.

Wow, managing all that and journalists not twigging to suppression of the masses here using media.
Even most people apparently unaware of it. Must be very subtle indeed. So subtle its like it doesn't exist. Kudos to whoever came up with that, media usually not going for subtle.

The idea people who work in the media are more interested in the truth, rather than shouting the latest piece of sensationalism louder than the next news outlet, is quaint.

Whenever have I suggested the media is interested in the truth?
They want to tell a story. Sensational stories even. To fit the narrative they want to use.

However suppression of the masses by the media would be a sensational story, good enough for international coverage. If its real and not just a story. What's the term used these days? Fake news?
Back when I were a boy the term was 'lie'.
Subtle and media not usual bedfellows.
