Been approached about Genistar

I need some help, please?

I have been approached by Genistar, previously called Citi Solutions here in the UK and AmeriPlan in the USA.

Believed to be FSA approved, though I am still awaiting confirmation.

Looked at what is on offer and as ex-financial services rep, fills me with dread about the advice they are handing out and the offer of vast wealth to their signees/distributors.

Does anyone here have direct good or bad experience of this company, please?

Happy to accept private messages, if anyone prefers?

Thanks

It is a legitimate company and been in business since 2007.
It is not a get rich quick scheme and does take work and effort.
The 2 Co CEOs have 30+ years in the financial services business and seems to be working in the UK.

My suggestion is go to one of their free seminars and see it for yourself instead of being influenced by someone who just heard about it . No harm to go to a meeting. The worst thing is you may find out some new and innovative ideas and it may or may not be for you.

however, you have not actually answered my question.

Just because you say it is okay, and the CEO's have 30 years experience of financial services, doesn't make it right. Just what is their experience?

I have over 25 years experience of financial services, so should I be the CEO instead? No, of course not.

You have been unable to give direct examples of success or otherwise.

Also the licence from the FSA is so vital, and you have not answered that question.

Attending a meeting will give me an overview, and you assume I have not been to one, plus you have ignored the fact I had met with a rep of the company (who has since left - speaks volumes on its own).

So shall we try again, please?

since no-one has produced said licence

As for attitude?

No, I don't have one, but I do recognise, when people get hyped up about an opportunity, and then can't see the wood for the trees.

PS MPG - really love your profile. It is so full of information.

And Genistar is licenced under this number 472050

And can ONLY offer Insurance Mediation.

And then given clear lines on which services they can offer advice on - basically the unregulated market. They may NOT hold client monies.

An Indepenent Financial Advisor or a Tied Agent, can offer so much more, and very importantly has to do certain levels of training to retain their licence.

Seems a bit strange - are you the same Jeff Lestz – Co-CEO and Director of Marketing for Genistar| 01730 770 348

Just so we don't get a biased view:|
