Are you a Christian?

Where will all the people live in this kindgom arrangement (and also what is the arrangement fee?) wouldn't the world become grossly overpopulated with the elimination of death? I'd hate to live forever, can't think of anything worse.

When you are brought back to perfection you will not have a negative thought in your mind as everything about you will be perfect.

Life will be so different as it is today, as there will be no taking your peace away.

(Psalm 37:10-11) And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11*But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

Even the desert plains will blossom and there will be plenty room for everyone and when the earth is filled we will not have the need for further children.

(Isaiah 35:5-7) 5*At that time the eyes of the blind ones will be opened, and the very ears of the deaf ones will be unstopped. 6*At that time the lame one will climb up just as a stag does, and the tongue of the speechless one will cry out in gladness. For in the wilderness waters will have burst out, and torrents in the desert plain. 7*And the heat-parched ground will have become as a reedy pool, and the thirsty ground as springs of water. In the abiding place of jackals, a resting-place for [them], there will be green grass with reeds and papyrus plants.

Will you be there?

I and my wife want to be and millions of others, also do!

Lol at the arrangment fee question haha! the fee is going to church every sunday and making regular donations to the church :P
Living forever would be quite cool if the people who you cared about did too :D science may oneday result in life being extended much longer than it is today but it won't be anything to do with religion.
DCE you really need to simmer down with all those quotes, your CTRL & V key will end up falling off your keyboard at this rate

The Attenborough quote is from someone who does not have a clue with regards to the imperfection that humans suffer from, and why. Adam and Eve were created with a perfect immune system, but due to their disobedience to God they lost it, so we are all suffering because of that fact. They would have still been alive today, if they had not been.

How can any educated adult continue to believe such nonsense. David Attenborough's version has much more basis in fact than anything you have said. He looks at evidence as opposed to trotting out quotes from a book much of which can easily be proven to be untrue.

If you believe that all human beings were descended from A and E you will be quite happy to accept that their siblings practised incest with gay abandon. Are you happy with that too?

I can to that stage right now by popping a few pills.Well if you are going to be there, I think I would rather burn in hell.

Question? Why is it you dislike someone so much, when they are giving you Good News about the future under God's Kingdom rulership here on earth, where you, could have everlasting life on a paradise earth soon to be brought about.

So Jesus sacrifice was all for nothing is that what you are saying?

The good news is that it is exceedingly unikely that any of you are going to be disappointed. In actual fact you are not going to be anything other than dead.

Enjoy the one life you have.

Why would that make me happy? So you are telling me if I live the christian life, go to church every sunday, believe in God and do all those Christian things and after all that the reward I get is an eternal life stuck with you? It is hardly the greatest sales pitch is it?

Hows this one? Live the life you have always wanted, do what you like, sleep with whomever you wants, drink, steal, kill people, swear, stick two fingers up at God and after you have had a wail of a time living your life you don't go to hell (because a christian does told me it doesn't exist), you just drop down dead rather than spending an enternity with the flanders.

God created Adam and Eve perfect and purposed that all humankind descend from them. (Gen. 1:28; 3:20) Obviously some marrying of close relatives, especially within the first few generations, would occur.

Even after sin made its appearance, there was relatively little danger of marked deformities in the children during early generations, because the human race was much closer to the perfection that had been enjoyed by Adam and Eve.

At about 2,500 years after Adam became a sinner, God prohibited incestuous marriage.

Which human 'type' do you reckon Adam belonged to DCE?

Type:- God made man in his image, very unique I would say, wouldn't you?

(Genesis 1:26-28) 26*And God went on to say: "Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every moving animal that is moving upon the earth." 27*And God proceeded to create the man in his image, in God's image he created him; male and female he created them. 28*Further, God blessed them and God said to them: "Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth."

So are you admitting that all the fish of the sea, etc. were here before people?

I can say with 100% certaintly that God said nothing of the sort. Some bloke a few hundred years ago took it upon himself to write this and gullible people believe it to this day.

If it were the truth and all people came from A and E then "be fruitful" means go and have lots of sex with your brothers and sisters. Not a nice prospect in my view and certainly not a nice way to create the human race.

Oh and how come we have all these different racial groups? Black, white, yellow and red all derived from A and E and their incestuous family. Very strange state of affairs I would have thought?

Very strange state of affairs I would have thought?

Standard fare for some branches of Christianity. I read earlier about a 19th century Christian Utopian sect who wanted to train whales to serve humans, and when this happened the sea would taste of lemonade. Honestly; I can dig out the references. (The run of the mill multiple wives for the leaders, free love guff was also there, but that's standard, no?)
All very fishy..

But which one of the Human's above was made in God's image? Perhaps Homo Erectus? Or was is the first Homo species, H. habilis?

As Homo was 'more perfect' the farther back we go, perhaps it was one of the Australopithecus? Maybe God was a Neanderthal?

Problematic Fossils

Scientists often portray the final “stages” of “human evolution” as a progression from Homo habilis to Homo erectus to “modern man,” Homo sapiens.

Two fossils found within walking distance of each other in Kenya, however, have now been interpreted as indicating that the two species Homo habilis and Homo erectus, thought to be human ancestors, lived at the same time.

“Their co-existence makes it unlikely that Homo erectus evolved from Homo habilis,” states Meave Leakey, one of the authors of the report.

None of those it seems.

So, if we say for the sake of argument that H.habilis, H. erectus and H. sapiens share a common ancestor, is that the one that was made in the image of god? And did the now extinct Human ancestors also have souls? Maybe they are the 144,000?

Professor Chris Stringer, head of human origins at London's Natural History Museum, said: "Both were apparently stone tool-makers, but one possibility is that the larger and perhaps more mobile erectus species was an active hunter, while habilis scavenged or caught small prey."

It is most likely that both species evolved from a common ancestor.

Its the common ancestor bit that's important DCE, that's evolution.

FOSSIL EVIDENCE BACKFIRES

The evidence from fossils, the remains of living things dug up from the earth, also has backfired on evolutionists.

They had hoped that after more than a century of searching, they would have found numerous “in-between” fossils linking the various types of once-living things together in an unbroken chain. But the abundant fossil evidence now available has completely shattered this hope.

Zoologist Coffin says: “The fossils, evidences of the life of the past, constitute the ultimate and final court of appeal, because the fossil record is the only authentic history of life available to science.”

And what does the record show?

Does it agree with evolution?

Coffin answers: “It does not, it tells us that plants and animals were created in their basic forms.

The basic facts of the fossil record support creation, not evolution.

Dr. D. B. Gower, biochemist from London University, also confirms that ‘the story of the fossils agrees with the account of Genesis (in the Bible).’ He says that ‘in the oldest rocks we do not find a series of fossils covering the gradual changes from the most primitive creatures to developed forms, but, rather, in the oldest rocks, developed species suddenly appeared.’ He also observed that between every major type of plant and animal ‘there was a complete absence of intermediate fossils.’

Thus, after more than a century of digging up millions of fossils, the record confirms that life-forms were created “according to their kinds.”—Gen. 1:11, 12, 21, 24.

RETREAT ON MAN’S HISTORY

Recent discoveries of human fossils have caused a retreat, also, regarding man’s supposed evolutionary history. These discoveries have made a shambles of the evolutionary “tree,” the hypothetical lineup of apelike creatures assertedly leading to man.

Because of these recent discoveries, the Boston Globe declared: “Every single book on anthropology, every article on the evolution of man, every drawing of man’s family tree will have to be junked.

It also means we have had our ancestors mixed up.

What has caused this retreat?

The discovery of modern-type human fossils believed to be older than the supposed “apemen” from which they were alleged to have come.

One of these “apelike” creatures, labeled Australopithecus by scientists, was once even hailed by some as being the missing link between humans and apes.

But according to scientific sources the new evidence has shown this to be impossible. The New York Times reported: “The new fossils provided conclusive evidence that Australopithecus, an extinct species once thought to be transitional between ape and man, was, instead, a contemporary of early man that became an evolutionary dead end.”

The truth is that humans, too, were created ‘according to their kind.’ That is why no “links” have ever been found between man and beast. It is also why none ever will be found. The huge gap will always remain, put there by the Creator to keep man and beast distinct.

Anthony Ostric, a professor of anthropology from Indiana, told a congress of scientists that the evidence shows that man has remained essentially the same since he first appeared. He declared: “It is not possible to see how biological, social or cultural forces or processes could transform any kind of prehuman anthropoid or ‘near-man’ into homo sapiens.” He observed that man’s unique biophysical and socio cultural nature appears to represent “an unbridgeable abyss separating him from all other animals.”

Plainly, the evidence accumulated over many decades has forced evolution to retreat on many fronts.

Facing the facts honestly leads to only one conclusion. As the Bible long ago declared: “Know that Jehovah is God. It is he that has made us, and not we ourselves.”—Ps. 100:3.

Oh look DCE, you forgot to give the link of the source you're copying and pasting from - once again.

Your mis-firing here DCE... It doesn't matter if this fossil leads to the humans branch, as in evolutionary terms we know it leads back to a common ancestor. Try proving that one wrong instead DCE!

haha

Harold Coffin, "invertebrate zoologist from the University of California", is quoted on the lack of evidence of evolutionary progression; Coffin is a zoologist but is also a 7th-Day Adventist, YEC and flood-geologist; long associated with the Geoscience Research Institute (GRI) run by the 7th-Day Adventist Church; has written several books espousing young-earth creationism.

ie a complete and total idiot that thinks the world is 6,000 years old; great source DCE; up there with your best.

Trouble is Whales and Dogs, they cannot answer for themselves or they would be telling David Attenborough that he is completely wrong in his thinking.

He wants to bring notice to himself, rather that give credit to our Creator.

We can speak for ourselves in many different languages, that is what makes Humans so different from animals, would you agree?

Can they not answer, or is it that you can not understand them? Whales and Dogs seem to do just fine for themselves.

Honestly, that reply isn't even worthy of bothering with DCE... It just goes to show how corrupted you are that everything must be attributed to some "creator".

Now DCE, where are your links?

Some might argue that point, alright so animals cannot talk in a language we understand, but they do communicate, often in more unusual ways than we do. They might not be as intelligent as humans but then intelligence varies greatly from one human to the next.

They are at a lower evolutionary stage than we are. Will they ever speak in a language that consists of words one day? Perhaps not, but then maybe the environmental pressures for them do not exist in order for them to evolve.

Look at chimps, aren't they something like 98% the same as humans in terms of their DNA structure? Does that mean they are on the same evolutionary pathway that we are? Again not necessarily, the two forms could be entirely separate from eachother...but rest assured they aren't daft. They show emotions, they show embarassment, pride, confusion, fear. Are we really that different? Perhaps they are smarter than us, afterall they don't worship a 2000 year old carpenter's son do they?

Yes, but all the animals are all in subjection to man just as the Creator deemed they should.

Cannot argue with that fact, as even David Attenborough would have to admit.

Have you been to the Circus lately?

No animals certainly are not subject to man. I'll stick you in a room with a Lion if you want, or a poisonous frog, or a malaria carrying mosquito. Take your pick.

You see how subject they're to your will. I put it to you, you'll come off worse.

Unfortunately there are lots of humans who are in subjection to man aswell...does that make these men better than others then? I'm thinking along the lines of slaves, prisoners etc.

Have you ever confronted a pride of hungry lions?

Ever watched the Lionman lately it is possible, and we tame them in Circus Rings, so your taking it out of context, they are, and can be in subjection of man.

Mind you we could always shoot them and Kill them if we so wish.

I'm taking it out of context?! You've just generalised that we're superior to all animals. I'd like to see you taming a pride of hungry lions. Or an angry hippopotamus for that matter.

Your views are bigoted, self-indulgent, and completely flawed.
