I bought my van 3 years ago with a BBL and although I'm paying it fine with no problems, I'd just like it to be forgiven, like all the fraud that happened... I was one of the 3 million outcasts who didn't get any other help, if I'd had that, I wouldn't have needed the BBL.. It has actually taken all this time to rebuild the business to actually needing this particular sized van, much longer than I thought it would. Last year was the worst year I've ever had in my business since the early years!

I'd suggest that there is no chance at all and with a taxpayer hat on, i hope not.

Although I was advised by somebody quite smart to convert mine to a 10 year term on the basis that a Labour Government might waive them.

I reality it makes no economic sense for them to do so (and even smart people are often wrong on such matters)

Also one of the 3 million outcasts and as frustrating as that period was, and given the amount of fraud that went on, I hope they don't waive my BBL. I certainly have no expectation it will ever happen, under any government. What I would like to see is the government pursue those donors and other high-profile abusers of the system, some of whom sit in the HoL, and recoup loses there. But that will never happen either.
