Looking at your profile, Tom, would it not be truer to say that you want to do SEO for adult sites?

Getting hits for a porn site is not the same as getting hits for selling beanie-hats. You need to up-load your videos to one of the many showcase sites and embed your site name in the body of the video, so that the gentlemen (and some ladies of course!) who are watching your videos, see the link, make a note of it and then go there to see the full version of your (typically five minute) video.

Uploading is free. Your videos (and ALL other material) MUST be original. If you try to post material that is not original, you will get into a world of trouble that normal mortals cannot even begin to imagine. The nice ones will sue you for every penny you've got. The ones whose grandparents emigrated to the US from Sicily will be far less accommodating. As for those, whose mother tongue is Russian, well, they take a rather jaundiced view of such things and may ask you to spend the rest of your life in bed and taking your supper through a rubber tube.

It's a fun business, but you have to obey the rules!

If you already have a successful formula for ranking non adult keyphrases then stick to the same formula for adult keyphrases. You’ll need to make some minor tweaks to your formula depending on what techniques you use but these will become obvious once you get stuck in.

What's your USP? Why should people come to your site rather than one of your competitors? Do you have unique content not found elsewhere? Do you cater for a niche / fetish not currently covered by other adult sites?

Or are you a thin affiliate simply generating leads for other adult sites?

For what terms should Google rank you at #1 and, more importantly, why?

You need to know the answers to questions like these before you even start to SEO your site!

Totally irrelevant. Google ranks the gateway sites and getting onto these is described above in my post.
