  Yes you now have control. If you stop trading on that limited company and dont file anything, ultimately companies house will strike it off

  Thank you for your valuable input. My partner has resigned as a director but still remains his 50% share. He’s refusing to meet = massive deadlock. You suggested closing down. The company has no debt & there’s no contract between us. Would it be possible to close it with he’s holding 50% share? Many thanks!
