If I produce and sell something around the world that is made in the uk, which is the most favorable discription:

Made in Great Britian
Made in Britian
Made in England
Made in the UK
Made in the United Kingdom

The last one. The first 3 are false, the 4th may refre to Ukraine.

You answered it yourself.

Made in UK, is more widely accepted than the others.

We manufacture for a number of UK companies who design their own products in the UK, and they all (without exception), want 'Designed in UK' on their labelling.

Bear in mind that the UK and Great Britain and not the same thing...

UK = England, Scotland, Wales and NI
GB = England, Scotland and Wales (ie the mainland only)

So it depends on where your product is being made. If it is on the mainland you could use either (my preference would be the UK); if it is in NI, then you couldn't use GB.
