I read this post with interest.
DWP ( to use his nickname) suggests that he has received the attention of females purely because he is a businessman and drives a big car. The respondents try and use a tangent deflection approach or else demand proof of the OP claim.
I do find this site exciting in the battle of the uninformed.
May I suggest that ::::
1. one accepts he does drive a 60k Mercedes. Perhaps women are following the nature of perhaps this young person can be a good provider for my children. So what is wrong with him being more popular than a perosn who drives a 10 yr old skoda? Gripes in this direction siggest envy.
2. One assumes the OP is the one with the propensity to exaggerate. In that event, the female will still stand by her man, as long as he reciprocates the real feelings between two people.
There is no difference between the two scenarios such as a post pubescent boy dreaming of marrying Rachel Riley from Countdown, but will be happy and content in committing to the lass who works the till at the local petrol station.
Can anyone on here go on record and state they settled down with the person they hoped for? If they can, I would request more proof than a datestamp on a windscreen.
However, it is apparent from this thread that cynicism and envy do exceed objectivity, and perhaps in itself protestations do enlighen more than possible misstatements.
