Been a proud owner of S500 I would like to know what cars do you guys have? My first car was a GOLF! so do not feel embarassed if you drive NISSAN MICRA:D

One of the best things in business is that if you are successful you can drive a 60K Mercedes... also tell me some other expensive stuff you did buy in your life (excluding boring houses).

My first vehicle was a hoop and stick. I was going to get one like PWD's mercedes, but I thought I should use something a bit easier to drive in order to become familiar with the road rules.

One night, I used my hoop and stick to go down to the pub, which is about 10 miles from where I lived. After about 18 pints, I asked my friend whether it would be wise to drive home in my current state.

At closing time I went out into the car park to find my hoop and stick had been stolen. My friend told me "don't worry Paul, you can buy another hoop and stick tomorrow". "Yes, but that's not the problem", I replied, "how am I going to get home tonight?!".

Being honest, and not taking the michael out of the Opening Poster (and i dont believe you drive that merc - you would use a real pic not a promo pic if it were not only a dream)

I drive a 53 Plate Toyota Avensis Daily, and have a passion for Old Ford Sierra's in my spare time ;)

This thread definitely explains the OIL thread. Not sure about the chocolate and nuts one though. Is it Santa's car?

(Oh and I use public transport. Pointless exercise to use a car in most parts of London.)

To be honest, those who drive Mercs don't usually pay £60K for the SL500 and I'll tell you why.....

You go to a Merc dealership and put down £6000 and pay £470 a month and they give you a E-Class for 3 years with a buy back price. You pay £23K for the £38K motor!!

Or get a lease hire and put it through your business!

Btw I have a Hilux HL3 (company), 300zx (toy) and a Triumph 675

I drive a 2000 Citroen Berlingo Van, the most horrible shade of green you could imagine, and it is plastered in signwriting advertising my business.

This is by far the best single piece of advertising I have ever done, and I fully intend to drive it into the ground before I change it.

Every time I drive it up the street, people cannot help but look at it :D

Because I have one of the last ones ever made on an 05 plate .Its the worst van you have ever driven but its is so reliable .195000 miles from new 2 clutches and two accerator cables .
Its parked up most of the time now as the sprinter vans are more comfortable:D

Scot, don't mess around. And I am not avoiding akward questions or whaterver. It is simply I have been busy building a business

Poodle guy, don't mess around... You asked what would prove that you own the car, and I said that a note with 'UKBF' written on it would suffice (you even suggested something similar). It only takes two minutes. You managed to take a picture of a wagon wheel so I'm sure you could do this.

Come on, prove to us that you own a Merc and you can permanently shut us all up. Imagine that.

If you show me a picture of a Merc and a note with 'UKBF' written on it then I might consider it. I'll also need a picture of you holding the keys too in case you go street hunting for a strangers Mercedes (I wouldn't put it past you).

It's a lot of effort but you'll really shut most of the haters up on here if you can prove us all wrong. Worth it right?

Apologies if I came across as bossing you around too! So, pretty please with sugar on top will you show us a picture of your Merc with proof that it's yours?
