Worldpay Verification

Hello,

Joined this group to see if anyone else was having problems with the Worldpay verification process.

From a family business, been trading for over 50 years, been with Worldpay for about 5 years(?) Now getting stressed out trying to get through there (new?) Verification System.

Had the letters threatening withholding payments, and was wondering what alternatives there are out there for similar sized businesses (small newsagents/beer-off) we have SumUp for use as a backup when the Worldpay machine throws a wobbler, but not sure if it is right as a main machine? I believe you can get a version of the SumUp machine with a till-roll/receipt feature, but was wondering what others are using ...

Avoid World pay

They are the rogues of the banking fraternity, avoid at all cost, they will withhold payments with BS about investigations etc,

Didn't Worldpay allocate you an account manager?

What happens when you call them?

For you, SUmUp is not likely to be viable for daily use - I would assume you are paying sub 0.5% with Worldpay 0 SUmUp will add 1% to that.

Thanks for your reply, I did not realise that they have personal account managers...

They did when I used them, but like many businesses, you only see them when they sign you up - after that, they dissappear.
