This is a site which charges an amount for you to find out about suppliers which have apparently good deals on for anything they may be selling.

I have used this site before and thought that the £15 a month subscription was a bit much for what seemed a lot of things that weren't of interest to me.

May I ask if anyone else has used this site, and what they thought of it. Was it very successful for you?

The reason I ask is because I am looking for suppliers and am not in a location to just go and walk around ( I am but I want stuff from the UK if I can). I am therefore looking for tips, please, for useful places to look - recommendations etc.

Thanks

Can mods please correct the spelling in the title. I can't seem to do it. Thanks

There is no reason to pay for access to suppliers. Ask yourself this - what sane and rational supplier would want to limit access to customers behind a paid wall? Answer: none.

This is the best wholesale directory in the UK: http://www.thewholesaler.co.uk/

It charges suppliers to be listed, not retailers who want to access those suppliers.

Was excited for a min, then realised they have no food wholesalers on there :/

Regarding the first part of your post.. Whilst I agree, why do Costco charge for membership? I keep reading they are good on their prices, though why charge in the first place to allow access? :|

Seems like a silly idea for a business to be trying to get people to pay for something like that. Im sure you can find wholesalers yourself all over the net without having to pay a penny!
