MSc study on AI and eCommerce - calling out to interview participants

My name is Jaipreet Gahir, I am a postgraduate student at Loughborough University London.

I'm currently conducting dissertation research on how small online merchants are affected by AI‑mediated shopping (i.e. Google AI Overview/ChatGPT).

I am looking to interview around 10–25 small online merchants (typically under 10 employees) about:

• How customers currently discover their products
• Any changes noticed in sales and product visibility over the last 12 months
• Their awareness of AI‑driven tools and what helps or hinders adoption of new solutions

Interviews are:

• 45–60 minutes, online (e.g. Zoom/Teams) at a time convenient for the merchant
• Fully approved under Loughborough University’s ethics procedures, with participant information sheet and informed consent form
• Confidential and anonymised in any reporting back to the University or to industry partners
