Where and what needed for selling food?

Hi,
Want to do a new food business but just as a one off tester.

All I want to know is if you sell food at a festival what certificates do I need/laws?
Do I need to go on a one day course etc.

Just guessing... Contact local council ? They will tell you what you need and how much you have to (if organisied by a council) pay for a spot.

The festival organizers may want a risk assessment.
There is no official certificate that you have to have to trade. However you have to prove to the EHO that you are fully compliant with food hygiene and safety. And the easiest way to prove that is to do your level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate. You can do it online.
