the new iphone isn't just a 'nice' looking device its a technical marvel which blows every other smartphone into the dust, including the htc desire. I would say wait until th 24th and get yourself one.

And you base you affirmation on what? I own a BB Curve and an iPhone 3G; i love the iPhone for the music and games, but for my business needs it can't do what the BB does(meaning email, attachments, excel). It is indeed a technical marvel, but let's be honest is not blowing anything into the dust, meaning that in MY OPINION it doesn't have such a big technical advantage especialy over the desire.

So to answer extremedistro and not be totally off-topic: Get the new Bold ;)

Quick Office app for the iPhone does editing of Excel and Word docs. Attachments are fine on my iPhone as well :)

Based on the 1hour 50minute WWDC keynote where Steve Jobs actually demonstrated the key features of the device, in terms of its functionality, manufacturing and design and the unbelievable display it is way, and I do mean *way*, (not just speaking as an apple fanbois) ahead of the pack.
