I have a purple Citroen C3 and love it. It's nippy to drive, plenty of boot space and great if you are tall to fit in. Totally idiot proof.
I spent months trying to decide which car I wanted and tried lots of them. My short list...
Peugeot 306 2L hard top was lovely, but a group 12 insurance, which is very expensive when you have already used your no claims on a campervan.
Mazda MX 5 looks good, but seem to be built for little people. My hubby sat in it and his head popped up though the soft top. Was very funny at the time, but put me off the car.
Toyota soft top, this was way too low to get out of lady like. I sat in it and couldn't get back out easy with the top down. Horrible squashed up car. Not for serious driving to work, definitely a boys toy.
I love the look of minis outside, but hated the interior.
In fact, I have looked and tried that many cars now, I may become a car reviewer. I know Citroen's aren't trendy, but it was the best all round little car for me. Plus, I can buy purple accessories now and jazz it up all girly.
