It's a really nice site.
Personally, I'd ditch the streaming news part as it distracted me from the message of the welcome page.
Also:
"We protect the intangible assets which are a key component of your business.
This website will help you decide what you need to invest in this vital area."
Doesn't grab me.
"Intangible assets" strikes me as too vague or jargony. I'd simplify and clarify it.
"what you need to invest" is jolting to me. The word invest is used too soon, IMO. I reckon you should soften it so something like "this website will show you how you can protect your itellectual property".
(actually, I'm not that keen on "intellectual property", but I don't know your industry and the different terms there is to choose from, there may be something better)
Also, once someone's read this opening message, it's not obvious what they should do next.
You might want to give them a "to get started" instruction.
For example, on my site, I tell readers they should start with a particular report. This tends to work better than just leaving the reader to figure it out for himself.
All in all, an excellent looking site.
