Web Information Legal Requirements?

Hi,

I am a sole trader who has set up a website. I do not sell products on the website, I simply list information.

My telephone number and email address is on the website but as yet I have not put my office address, which also doubles up as my home address, on the site. As a sole trader, is this a legal requirement?

not that I'm aware of Joanne. Don't think you have to put your address.

You don't need to put your address, but I would be personally be very reluctant to do business with anyone who did not put a contact address on the website as this enforces a companies/traders credibility.

If you are a limited company you need to display your registered company address and reg no. Also if you are VAT registered, your reg no needs to be on. If you are a sole trader I don't think your address needs to be on but as per NuBlue I would recommend it.
