OK so I have one now, but apart from making and receiving calls on it, is there anything else it can do?

It makes a lovely cuppa!!

Just push button No4 and five minutes later, a cuppa appears with choccy Hobnobs, well it works in my office.

Failing that you can just angry with it, when it cuts you off mid call, I find that particularly useful.

If I garrotte people with it does that affect the warranty?

It's best when you've got a few employees, customers or friends/relatives and need to call them a lot. As a company with 100% remote workers, we are on the phone to each other all day long everyday - we use the conference facilities constantly. But we have zero phone bill.

After that, it's 166 that cheers me up on a rainy day.

To be honest, you should be bored with VoIP - when you don't notice a technology it's been accepted
