VOIP Phone lines

Please excuse me if I am churning up covered ground, but we are investigating whether or not to move to VOIP phonelines for our business.

We could save about £200 per quarter.

Does anyone have any first hand feedback/advise of making the move, and would you advise it?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

How many concurrent calls will you make? If more than one to two then I would install a separate ADSL for voice. If you don't you risk having very bad quality calls or even being disconnected.

If savings are your only driver then you could look at a CPS (Carrier Pre-Select) service. You can switch to an alternative carrier but still keep your normal phone lines and still get good savings.

I am a bit fan of VoIP but it's not necessarily the answer in every circumstance.

Need to know more about what you want to do really - what are you currently looking to save £200 pq, you'll have several exchange lines at the moment?

I have recently changed to voip for my company, funnily enough with voipfone above. It has worked very well so far and is so much cheaper.
