UK Mail (couriers)-any good?

I've got UK Mail(used to be Business Post) coming to see me tomorrow (Wed).
What are they like?

We sell bulky but low weight items.

We use them 5 - 10 times a week only one late in 15 weeks and got emaail and 10% back so good for us Andy

Yep - we've used them for about 18 months and can't fault them.

We used Business post about 7 years ago, they were terrible missing parcels, late delivery, damage and absolutely no help at the local depot. I think the main problem they had was that they didn't cover the whole country so they used a network of other couriers. That said it was a long time ago. We changed to Parcelforce and have absolutely no complaints. Our parcels generally go to residential addresses which I think is a bit harder than delivering to a business address which will always have someone in to accept the parcel. Check to see what their redelivery conditions are and levels of insurance etc.

They have been very good for us. 90% of our parcels are going to rural properties in the middle of nowhere, pretty much always delivered next day.

Would definitely recommend

We have sent around 600 parcels so far with UK Mail and only a few issues, would recommend these...

We used them about 3 years back and it was really poor.
They had a habit of taking our goods and trashing them, losing them etc.

We do get incoming deliveries through them and they have a habit of delivering very late in the day, which is a real pain for us.

Hopefully they have got better.

We use UK Mail and have done for 4 years. Recently though they have got into the habit of volumising parcels so, if you parcel is only 5kg but is in a large box, you will be charged the volumetric weight rather than the actual weight of the package. Ask the rep about it as your invoice can come as a bit of a shock.

We used them for a short time and then they suddenly changed their T&C to say they no longer did our type of volumes so we got cut off virtually overnight.

Now using Interlink and happy.

Have had two contracts with them in the past, the service was ok but they would suddenly change their minds on things and leave you in the sh*t. Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole now. Very nearly lost my business a few years back when they U turned on an agreement overnight.
