I have a shop with big windows and was considering putting TVs in windows, however I have seating near windows what's the best cost effective way to have them in the windows without taking up too much floor space
I have searched for TV stands but not sure what I should be looking for

I would assume if you are looking to put televisions in your windows, you mean that are showing TV programmes, or do you mean your own promotional videos?

If the televisions are switched on and showing broadcasts you may have to look into getting a licence if you are going to allow the public to watch.

I don't wish to poo-poo your ideas, there are planning laws about TV's in windows. It's advertising. The main issue being, will it cause a distraction to car drivers and therefore have the potential to cause an accident.

No it's not a permit, it's an issue of obtaining planning permission for advertisements, or staying within permitted rights.

Size of TV's, number of TV's, distance from the window, what is showing on the screens and location of the shop, are some of the considerations.

A call to the planning department would be a good start.
