Hi Tony,
If you are asking for a mini-review, I'll start positively: the graphics are clean and very slick and I wish I could produce similar stuff.
However in brief, I would not go beyond the front page (viewed 22 Jan 07) if I was a non-technical business person.
Why? For me it's the psychology that doesn't work. The index page just doesn't 'impact sell' the benefit in laymans terms, and I don't get it. Combined with the graphic-style (however good it is), it gives off the feel of an anonymous site and does not warm me/draw me in to explore further.
I would of course assume you have very clearly identified your ideal customer and the language they use; that you know the real challenges they have and that your product and business model has real value they would benefit from (savings/business advantages).
Thus I can only make the assumption as it is configured, that your best sales channel (whether aimed for or not) might be a techie who evangelises about it to a web site client/author... and that's how the sales come.... however, as one (a web project designer manager) I am not gripped by one single reason that compels me to expend my time and resources to bringing you new client business. My level is probably jack-of-all-trades and with the off-limits technical jargon, I just cannot see how I can gain advantage from it.
I would also suggest you lose the phrase 'toll-free' because straight away I know you are not UK based, and that puts me off as a person of UK origin.
Hope my review is fair (anyone disagree?), although my tea is now cold, and that's unfair.
Best regards,
Paul.
