Hi;
I am running a Magento store. Previously, I searched google for Magento extensions, I found some brand such as Aheadwork, Magestore, and your brand too.
I bought some different extensions from different brands.. Here is my feedback (just my opinion)
1. Aheadworks- nice extensions with many features and great services; however, the price so really high
2. Magestore: good extensions and they often updated new features, but many features are unnecessay.
So, I try to find other brands that offer extensions with core and necessay features with more reasonable prices such as:
3. cmsideas.net: good extensions, cheap price, services is quite ok
4 iwdextensions: extensions is ok, price is high a bit, services ok
until they are working well and I satisfied with my choices.

To sum up, it realy depends on your budget and what you need. I hop my sharing is helpful!

The extensions that really work for my business are:
1. Sweettooth - loyalty program. We use over a year, the results speak for themselves: 23% increase in average order value and 47% higher conversions. Pretty good!
2. Mageworx - seo ultimate. This one we've been using about 2 years. effective onpage optimization together with an offpage gave us fantstic results - #1 for 10 main keywords, 2-times visitor increase over a couple of months and we went #3 and #1 in Google & # 1in Bing

We're working with the Sweet Tooth Rewards extension for customer loyalty a lot lately and although we have come across some limitations/bugs, we're finding it great to work with and the support is excellent.

We would recommend it for any stores that want to run a loyalty program like we recently set up for a client of ours.

I think OneStepCheckout by IWD is veeery useful extension.
It make customer's life easier. It means your webshop become more attractive.
As for extentions from other developers there is one short and clear review article called "Magento Extensions (modules, plugins)" written by Magecom - you can find it in google search.

Out of interest, did you measure conversion rates of your checkout before and after?
We tried this a while ago and saw absolutely no difference on our store.
