The apprentice

Hi,

Finally watching the apprentice. All they have done so far is argue, cry and swear. Is this a normal program? The people on it don't seem very happy, they look stressed and flustered? There's a woman with blond curly hair, who hasn't stopped blubbering since it started.

It is nice that they are raising money for the hospital though! But if I was Mr Sugar, I wouldn't employ any of them.

Very strange world they live in?

I'll keep watching though.

lol. I know and now the lads are arguing before they go in to see Virgin. It's very strange TV, I don't know any people like these?

They are really mucking it up.

I was hooked on the first episode but frankly found last weeks episode so poor I couldn't be bothered watching tonight. The thought of watching that curly blonde (who incidentally is the oldest of the lot) jump up and down and scream made me cringe. Jayne brought up probably the one main point that made me switch off and not wish to watch again - lads bitching!

In the first episode, so early on in the game they were all working together, mainly I think, because they didn't have a blue print of how things could go, the blue print has been laid down now and I suppose that's what always happens when a second series is run. Big Brother was a classic example of this, the contestants became more and more outrageous in a bid for fame. I thought The Apprentice was different, I doubt it will run for a third series, Alan Sugar is an astute business man and I'm sure he won't compromise his image further, even he looks a bit lost at the contestants antics.

lol.. They were all very girly and I mean all

I did think they were all very rude too, what's wrong with being tough with good manners. I kept expecting a cat fight to start at any min'.. Mental note, get pop corn for next show

I felt that Nargis was extremley rude in presenting a product constantley telling the company's to be quiet as she hadnt finished!

If a company wants to ask questions you let them lol!

I enjoy the apprientce and i really respect Sir Alan for doing it he is a legend!!

It makes good TV and that is the main criteria.

The surprising aspect to last nights show was how Sanjey emerged as one of the more switched on contestants. He really annoyed me in the first episode.

As for Nic's comments....I thought you were Nichola now?

amazing how people react when they want something badly.. they are willing to lose the plot for anything!!!

That woman with the blond curely hair..she has a bad temper..she jumps up and down like mad.. how old is she again? 5? oh!! lol

i swear, if i had my way, i would sack her on the spot!! i dont care how passionate she is for the job she is seeking. there are limits and she crossed all of them!!!!

I think the Apprentice is great but last nights was a bit strange, I thought that both presentations were badly done, especially Nargis, who was unbelievably aggressive!

My bet's on Ansell I think, he seems to hold the team together well, although there's a definate split down the boys team which could be interesting!

i am just not impressed at all by this one
That silly woman who turns on the water works at the drop of a hat.

not the men are crying too, whats wrong with them?

Nargis desearved to go after her pathetic performance.

I am still open minded but thus far this is not a patch on the original series.

What odds would you give me on him making the last 4?

Given that it's pre-recorded which means there are people wandering around knowing how far each candidate got, I'd be an idiot to offer odds.

Look at my list, the two people at the bottom are the 2 people you'd immediately decide you would hate to work with.

The reason Paul is only number 4 on my list is that I think he's very unlikely to win (for reasons I gave in my blog). However, I'd probably put him in as the most likely to make the last 4.

So, the list isn't about who's most likely to survive the early rounds, it's about who's most likely to get hired.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Syed outlast a lot of the people above him on the list. However, if he gets to the semis, Sir Alan's going to look at him and think "what am I, a masochist?".

Just like Paul in series 1.

The boys were much better this week and I like the headhunter guy - he made me laugh, seems very level headed and even syed was much less annoying this week, but what is it with everyone blubbing all the time, I dont sit in my office sobbing every day!

That woman's made of teflon.

Still, as a lawyer, I would have thought that Karen could have proved quite easily that the whole "she was responsible for the tyre" claim was nonsense.

Steve

PS Am I over reading it, but when they gave so much coverage of the girls and so little of the guys during the task, I thought it was a sign that the girls wold lose?

I am so Pee'd off with Alan Sugar (he's not a Sir in my books). Today he proved that the programme is a farce. He has clearly kept Jo in purely for ratings. Everything and anything Jo done was wrong and she failed miserably. Karen was the strongest and she did try to defend herself but lunatic Jo just kept blabbing on. I thought this programme had more style and did not let the rating go to their head but quite clearly today that is all they are worried about and not about what the programme is meant to stand for.

Yes but at least he broke the mould of "sack the team leader" he did this last year for the first god knows how many, and i was starting to begin thinking this years will be the same...

But yes "crazy" has been kept for ratings.....Although syed moved forward a lot this week????

Jo has her bad points, however, I thought the girls treated her terribly. The three who weren't with her throughout the task were blatantly bitchy and had a serious problem from the outset taking orders from her so why didn't they stand up for themselves initially and deny her the role of Project Manager from the outset? The answer is obvious, they wanted rid. For that reason and that reason alone I am glad she made it.

The girls yet again were flirting and using their sexuality but Sayed actually kissed a girl he had done a deal with. Sorry, I don't kiss my clients when they hand me a debt.

As for Alexa, her voice is the most irritating thing I have ever heard. My daughter of nine has a deeper voice than her and a much more mature attitude, Alexa reminds me of a rag doll and shows as much initiative.

We did Steve Gibson mentioned the main focus was on the girls this week and so we didn't get to see Syed or the boys in action. I don't thik that he had the boys respect but they are more of "let's get on eith it and not fight" type of attitude.

I am so pee'd off that the producers and Alan Sugar are more concerned about the ratings arather than the actual programme. It has clearly taken the emphasis away from it. Now I am confused as to what the competition is about. This sort of thing happens in most reality programmes but it is never so obvious.

Jo will not be hired but she will be kept in till the last to keep the ratings. I am going to write to the BBC I think and complain

I don't expect her to win, but maybe, just maybe, he wants to try something different.

He said tonight..."she is raving mad but so am I"

I don't think he wants to sack her for being mad...he wants her to f*** up....I will admit definitely for ratings !!!

If he wanted her to screw up to get rid of her then tonight was definately the chance. She is never going to be this much of a screw up again in the series. She was team leader and failed miserably. I think we should complain and demand Karen to be reinstated

I actually remembered to watch this last night and I couldn't believe it when Jo wasn't sacked. I shouted "B*****d" at the TV (aimed at Alan Sugar) and hubby told me not to get so involved!!!

Of course, there was an annoying girl and boy last year who went far into the series - it's the same thing this year.
